Canopy Collection - Waterlily sculpture
This sculpture explores stillness and balance - the kind you have to choose on purpose when life is moving quickly. It grew out of a time when the days felt full and fast, and I looked for small moments to slow down and re-centre.
The form holds a tension I’m drawn to: delicacy and strength. Fine, furling edges held by a grounded foundation - like a waterlily that appears weightless, yet stays anchored and steady. At the centre sits a small bud, a subtle symbol of growth and becoming. Something slowly emerging, revealing its beauty over time. The surrounding form becomes both landscape and shelter, offering space for things to unfold.
Designed to sit low as a centrepiece, with room to be seen and taken in slowly - like looking down into still water.
